Pathways in Place–Griffith University is proud to be partnering with community-led organisations in Logan and Queensland to support and amplify their work.


Gunya Meta Inc is a non-profit organisation that focuses on serving the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families in Logan. Under the guidance and direction of its board, Gunya Meta’s suite of education and health-based programs support self-determination and social and emotional well-being, and provides opportunities for job training and employment.

The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) is a community-controlled health service (CCHS) that leads the planning, development, and delivery of health, family wellbeing, and social support services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population of South East Queensland. IUIH is working with our member CCHSs to improve the health, wellbeing, and economic independence of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in South East Queensland, the largest and fastest growing Indigenous population in Australia.

Mozzy Foundation provides members of the greater Brisbane multicultural community a chance to take action against social issues such as domestic violence and suicide. Mozzy works collaboratively and allows people to reap the benefits of integrated services. At the heart of its services is a strengths-based approach catered on the whole whanau (family), including adults, young people, and tamariki (children).

Village Connect is a community service supporting Pasifika families. It aspires to see Pasifika children and families flourish in Australia through the delivery of holistic supported services. It seeks to share and communicate strengths-based narratives of what success means and what it looks like for Pasifika peoples.
