Two universities. Two interlinked approaches. One innovative program.
Pathways in Place – Victoria University
PiP–VU is working with practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and communities in Brimbank, Victoria to build capacity for effective place-based systems change approaches that improve community outcomes. We also advance academic knowledge about place-based systems change approaches and the role of research in community change.
Pathways in Place – Griffith University
In collaboration with researchers and community partners in Logan, Queensland, PiP–GU is working to promote capacity, reform, and community empowerment within the Logan services sector, with a focus on early years development. We're helping to strengthen community-led organisations and support broader reform of systems and service provision.

place-based approaches?
What’s missing?

and organisations
in place
What skills and capacities are individuals, groups, and organisations who deliver services looking for?
Pathways from early years through to education and work
How can communities better support children and families through the early years, and young people as they leave
high school?
